Merry Merry Merry

I was inspired to create this card after seeing a layout by Danielle Flanders. Her's was a scrapbook page, but I used the basic idea and created a Christmas card. I am loving the new Basic Grey Christmas papers. The plaids and the traditional Christmas colors are great!

Christmas Ornaments

So, I know I have been the world's worst blogger lately. With the holidays I have been so busy that I haven't had much time to sit down and create. But, earlier this month we had our Christmas Card swap that is undoubtably the happiest day of the year. It is full of handmade goodies, friends, laughs, and good times. This year we decided to make 2 set of ornaments to swap. We made a few extra to donate to a family in need. Here are the two ornaments that I madeL

Holiday Magic

I wanted to share a little 4x4 card I made using the colors from KWerner's color challenge.  When I saw these colors I thought - everyone is going to make a baby boy card...what can I do instead...so I decided to go way out there and make a holiday card, ha ha!

Also - did you guys know that Scrapbook Trends Magazine now has all of their magazine and special issues available for download for LOTS cheaper than purchasing the book?  You can view their new issue about mini albums for FREE here!  Pretty awesome!  Check it out.

Stocking Card

It has been a while since my last post, but with Christmas only a few days away I have been busy shopping, wrapping, baking and preparing for the upcoming holiday.  I did find some time tonight to make up a quick card for Christmas.  This one was really simple and quick.  I used all Cosmo Cricket products with the exception of the Bazzill cardstock.  Hope you like it!  Merry Christmas!

As a bonus, here is a video of the creation:

Christmas Is Coming...

My church had a service auction where all of the women earned fake money by doing acts of service.  At the end of the month items were donated and we were able to bid on them with our fake money.  I donated some of my cards to the auction...the friend who won them requested Christmas Cards, so I wanted to share a few of them:
