Mother's Day Bouquet

We spent Mother's Day with my Sister-in-law's family.  I wanted to give something small to the mother's...so I made this "bouquet" as one of the gifts.  I purchased an inexpensive watering can from Michaels and filled it with paper flowers that I cut out using my Slice.  For the center of the flower I adhered a small piece of chocolate.  I then attached the flowers to a lollipop stick and then places them in the can.  A cute & fun way to give flowers. :-)

Supplies:  American Crafts - patterned paper, ribbon; Bazzill  - cardstock; Foray - ribbon; Making Memories - Slice design card Basics 2.

mom

Happy Mother's Day everyone!  I wanted to share another Mother's Day card I created for my mother in law.  You can't really tell in the photo, but the middle circle is actually vellum so you can see thru it...kind of like a window card.  This one was a fun one to make!

Supplies:  Bazzill - swiss dot cardstock; The Paper Company - vellum; Melissa Frances - patterned paper, key hold; Foray - ribbon; Prima - flower; American Crafts - letters, button.

A Few Altered Products

Altered Picture Frame for baby Cora

A couple that we go to church with just had their first child.  They had a get together to celebrate the baby yesterday, but I couldn't go because I had to work.   I was able to make this altered picture frame for their new baby, and will give it to them at church.  I hope they like it.

Altered Bucket for Mother's Day

I made this little bucket for Jim's mom as a small Mother's Day present.  I was inspired to make it by a few buckets that my friend Button has created.  Button has such vision when it comes to all things creative!  Her work is always original and so so cute!  This is my version of an altered bucket.  I put a few things inside like quilting pins and thread (Jim's mom loves to quilt).

Grandma Card With Butterlies

Here is another Mother's Day card.  I used the challenge on Danielle Flander's Blog as inspiration.  Her instructions were to create something with butterflies, chipboard, polka dots, and paint.  Here is what I came up with:

Supplies:  Bazzill - brown cardstock; Making Memories - polka dot paper, paint, ribbon; SEI - floral cutout; Amanda Blu - chipboard butterlies; Creative Imaginations - foam stamps.

As a bonus, here is a video of how I created the card.  Hope you enjoy it!
