Featured!

I am so excited and thrilled that I was featured on the Making Memories blog as a guest designer. They asked me to create a fall/Thanksgiving project to share and I came up with these 3 cards using Making Memories products. Check out the feature and view instructions on how to create these cards HERE.

Happy Harvest

Today I wanted to share a little fall card I made using lots of Making Memories Autumn Splendor products. I added a little machine stitching to the card for some added interest. :-)

Supplies: Bazzill - cardstock; Making Memories - leaves, patterned paper, happy sticker; metal sentiment; pearls.

Happy Thanksgiving

I got this idea from Danielle Flanders, whose work I always admire.  She often uses parts of mini albums to create cute shaped cards.  Recently, I have fallen in love with this technique as well.  For this card I used lots and lots of Melissa Frances product!  So fun!  Be sure to check out the video tutorial at the bottom of this post :-)

Supplies:  Creative Imaginations - chipboard pumpkin, Melissa Frances - patterned paper, acrylic accent, rubon; Prima - flowers; Craft Supply - star, button, twine.

My First Publication!

I am so excited to share that I have been published for the first time!  My little Thanksgiving Place Card was published in the most recent issue of Card Magazine!

I can hardly believe that this is my card...published...in a magazine!  I am so excited that I just had to post about it and toot my own horn, just a little bit :-)

On another note, I am having major issues with my iMovie program, and will have to visit the Mac store and see what is going on, so I apologize that there hasn't been a video post in a while - as soon as I get my problem fixed, I'll post another.  Thanks for your patience..

Thanksgiving Place Cards

This Thanksgiving my cute little cousin Carson is hosting the feast.  I am going to make place cards for all who are attending.  I still have several to make, but here is what I have come up with so far:
