Bad Blogger

Wow - I've been a seriously bad blogger these past several months. I do have an excuse though! I was the director for a girls camp for my church so all of my creative time was spent planning and executing that. I have made some cards...but I have failed to photograph them. :( But - I did come across a few photos I snapped with my iPhone. They are horrible quality, but it's all I got right now, ha ha!

In the coming weeks I hope to have a lot more to share, so stay tuned.

WITH DEEPEST SYMPATHY
I created this card for Card Swap and I seriously love it - I love how it turned out, all vintage and shabby.
Supplies: Basic Grey - patterned paper; Tattered Angels - frame, glimmer mist; Tim Holtz - key; Michaels - pearls, photo edges, raffia, bird. Online printed image - rose; Martha Stewart - punch.

SOAK IT UP
This is another Card Swap Card - my theme was to create a shaped card...and my cute husband suggested a bath tub. This is what I came up with.
Supplies: Bazzill - cardstock; Michaels - pearls, foil paper; Tim Holtz - saftey pin; Martha Stewart - glitter; Target - washcloth.

My Sympathy

Well, it is raining outside today - my favorite kind of days :-). Unfortunately - I have come down with a nasty cold! Just last week I thought to myself "I haven't been sick all winter". Shame on me for thinking it...I should have known that I would jinx (is that how you spell it?) my wellness.
Anyway, here is a card I created using the color challenge from K Werner. I first thought "baby card" when I saw these colors...and then I thought....why not make it something out of the ordinary for these colors, so I created a sympathy card.

Here are the colors:

And here is my card:

Supplies: Bazzill - cardstock; American Crafts - patterned paper; Making Memories - patterned paper, paint; Craft supply - ribbon; Heidi Grace - stamp; Stazon - ink.

With Sympathy

Jim asked me to make him a couple of Sympathy cards - so I was able to make a few simple cards using some pre-made cards I bought at Target.  I am still getting everything organized and unpack, so I'm not in the creative mode I would like to be in just yet...it was really hard for me to sick down and make these cards.  I'm hoping that once my house is in order and the way I want it that I will get my inspiration back :-)

Supplies: DCWV - patterned paper; Marcella by K - flowers; Card Base - Target; Scrapbook Nook - ribbon; Michaels - stamp; Stazon - ink.
