Thinking of You

I know I have been quite around here for the last week or so, but I have been busy with some projects for work, and I have been preparing for an activity with the 8 to 12 year old girls at church.  We did a fun Mother's Day craft that turned out great!  Anyway, I decided to participate in the most recent KWerner color challenge.  I've actually done a card with similar colors that you can see here.  I love this color combo and had tons of fun working on it.

Here is a snapshot of the challenge colors:

For this card I used several shapes that I cut out using my Slice.  I have been using my Slice a ton lately and I can't wait for some of the new design cards to come out!  I also did a little "sugaring" on the heart on this card.  I simple brushed on a thin layer of glue and then dipped it in some crystal dust.  Kind of fun.

This weekend I am going to the Scrapbook Expo in San Diego and I am super excited!  I hope to come back with lots of inspiration and a few new items to create more stuff!

Supplies:  Love Elsie - embossed cardstock; Sassafrass Lass - patterned paper; Me and My Big Ideas - patterned paper; Bazzill - cardstock; Foray - ribbon; Making Memories - button, floss;  Versa - ink; Melissa Frances - stamp.
