Thank U

So I'm still having a little trouble feeling inspired to create, but I am getting there...

I am finally out of the "un-packing" stage and I feel like I have a bit more time. Long Beach is definitely different than San Diego! The people here are very friendly though, and very down to earth. I have a few funny stories that have happened recently. Yesterday at the gym a woman commented on my tote bag that I use as my gym bag. It has a screen print of Jim Morrison on it. I told her that my husband's name was actually Jim Morrison...and she was so impressed! She told me how much she loved Jim Morrison and asked me if anyone ever called my husband Mr. Mojo Risin. I told her that I hadn't heard anyone call him that and she said "That's my cat's name." It just made me laugh.

Anyway, here is a card I made the other night. I love these resin wings, but have always had a hard time finding a way to use them. I used some new paper from a line called Websters Pages that is very vintage and ornate...fun products. Hope you like it.

Oh! I almost forgot! I have been nominated for the Scraptastic Blog Award! Go vote for me at http://scrapersdelight.blogspot.com. :-)

Supplies: Bazzill - cardstock; Websters Pages - patterned paper, ribbon; Fiscars - edge punch; Melissa Frances - resin wings; K & Company - glitter letter, black letters.

I really like that card! I took a long break of card making around Xmas and it was hard to get back and still inspired and get creative! I know what you mean. :-) I also voted for you!
