I was chatting with
Jaimie today about my cards and I told her why I do what I do, and why I love card making... and she told me I should post it on my blog...so here goes - when I was in high school my grandma passed away. I remember at her funeral someone saying that they had a shoe box full of cards that my grandma had sent to them. I remember my grandma always going into the card store, and everyone ALWAYS got a card for every holiday and every occasion. It was her way of letting people know that she cared. At that time I thought to myself, I want to be remembered like my grandma was...so I have always tried to send cards to let people know that I am thinking of them.
Here are 2 more birthday cards for the April B-Day people...and I still have to make 2 more! There are a ton of April Birthdays! I have been very busy in my craft room. :-)

I love your story...Sean has been trying to get me to send card to family members for years now, just so they know we care. Now I am motivated. I know at card swap I said I don't like birds but I love the blue card with the little bird, it is a sweet looking bird..maybe thats why I like it. Happy Card Making :)
